Teachers' pdf and Quiz file
The
Continuing Chemistry Teachers' version is found in the Teachers folder. In this version the Quiz references are hot links to the
Quizzes for Continuing Chemistry file also found in the Teachers folder. Contact your Pearson rep to receive the password that opens this file.
If you have the full version of Acrobat (not just the free Reader), you will be able to add extra hot links to the pdf files to other material on your system — such as favourite movie clips or animations, or your own PowerPoint presentations. Acrobat also allows you to highlight passages of text you may wish students to underline, or to add comments in the margins. With a Graphics tablet you can also hand-write answers in the Test Yourself boxes.
Practicals technician's guides
Technicians' information concerning chemicals and equipment needed for the practicals in the student text are contained in the
Technician's Guide to Continuing Chemistry. The
Answers to Practicals file will give you an indication as to what is expected for each practical. Technician's information for the PowerPoint practicals are found in the
Tech guide for PowerPoint Practicals, should you wish to do any of these practicals for yourself.
Outline
The
Outline file shows how the student Objectives, PowerPoints, Revision tasks, Quizzes, Practicals and Encounters fit together. Use it in your planning or for quick reference.
